I Write Like...

Since we've been thinking about how what we read inspires or influences what we write, I thought it might be fun for you to check out a website I've seen that analyzes a bit of your own writing and tells you what published author your writing is similar to.

I tried it with one of my blog posts and evidently I write like Dan Brown. I know who that is, but I haven't read any of his books. Interesting.

    I write like Stephen King. I am not too sure who that it, I wonder if I would like his books.

    I write like jack London, even though I have never heard of him.

    I write like Cory Doctorow, which is odd because he writes mostly science fiction. I have never heard of him either.

    I write like Gertrude Stein who is a great poet, playwright and novelist and I admire her work.

    I write like William Shakespeare, which is pretty great considering I do enjoy his poetry.

    I write like Stephen King.. I don't believe this is accurate, especially since when I plug in different writing pieces that I've written, I get different authors each time...
